Biography

Warren Brown is an English actor & Muay Thai style boxer. He is known for playing well known roles such as Donny Maguire in the British comedy series Shameless, Justin Ripley in the BBC crime drama Luther, Andy Holt in channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, Sgt. Thomas McAllister in Strike Back among others.

Hiw recent appearances include- Terry Roberts in Ten Pound Poms, Karl Maguire in Trigger Point, Patrick in Desperate Measures

Muay Thai

His fascination for Muay Thai began at the age of 15, he was very small for his age and wanted to do something about it.

Warren is professionally trained in Muay Thai, he is a 2 time world champion, he is not professionally involved with Muay Thai any more. At the age of 21 he defeated Carlo Barbuto at the WAKO Pro World Title held in Turin, Italy.  He was the youngest English World Champion in Muay Thai.

During his career as a fighter he has broken/ damaged his Leg, Eye, Nose numerous times. 

Once his friend and colleague Idris Elba poked him for a friendly fight knowing Warren is a champion, and threw a punch at him which Warren instinctively blocked with his knee, Idris had to limp for 3 days.

Though a world champion he was working in a warehouse in his home town Warrington for living.

After 10 years of training, competing and teaching in Muay Thai, he is retired and is pursuing career in acting
