Shyla Stylez was a Canadian porn actress who has also worked in mainstream TV. 

Shyla Stylez was born Amanda Friedland on 23rd September 1982 in Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada.

She was found dead on 9th November 2017 in her apartment, the cause of death is unknown.

Marriage with Bob Friedland: In 2002 Shyla started working for Jill Kelly Productions (who had her exclusive rights). She eventually married the CEO of Jill Kelly Productions Bob Friedland on 23rd October 2002.

The marriage lasted for about 9 months, the couple divorced in August 2003.

• Entry into industry: She got interested in pornography when she was still a teenager. She moved to Vancouver. Canadian actor Erik Everhard helped Shyla get into the industry. She was itching to get into films since age 17 and had to wait till she became of legal age.
• She worked as a stripper initially in her career.
• Webcam model: She worked on webcam in her initial career.
• She contacted numerous production companies in the United States regarding an opportunity to work for them, there were no agents back then, so it was hard to find a job initially.
